At 65, most would have expected their nappy-changing days to be behind them – aside from the occasional visit from a grandchild. However, Sir Elton John is keen to show that he has never been above changing the nappy of his son Zachary who turns two on Christmas day.
Top tip: Elton John stuffs his nose with wads of loo roll so he can leave it longer between nappy changes
Sharing his top tips with a national newspaper, Elton advised: “If you stick a big wad of toilet paper up each nostril you can leave it much longer between changes.”

Elton even released some photos which hubby David Furnish had taken of him in action last year to the paper. And while the Candle In The Wind singer does, indeed, look perfectly competent in the photos, he clearly isn’t having a very good time.
The doting father, and Furnish, have attracted praise from all quarters for the way they have managed to bring up their son away from the public eye.

They are frequently spotted taking Zachary for trips on their specially adapted bicycle but this is the first time they have courted publicity.
Perhaps Sir Elton was feeling a little insecure about how the public perceives his parenting skills? He shouldn’t though, we all think he’s just at great at being a dad as he is at writing chart-topping hits.
