Pre-wedding prep: Sharon Osbourne straightens Ozzy’s hair ahead of son Jack’s nuptials

Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne married off their son, Jack, in an “emotional and fun-filled” Hawaiian wedding yesterday. And although official photos of the nuptials have not yet been released, we imagine that Jack, his wife Lisa Stelly and all 48 of their guests looked wonderful… especially Ozzy who had spent the morning getting his hair straightened.

The heavy metal and reality TV star has always given the impression of having a pretty simple beauty regime and an effortless look (apart from continuing to dye his grey hair black).

However these photos, taken by a holiday-goer who was also staying on the Kona-Kohala coast of West Hawaii, show just how much work Ozzy – and Sharon – put into his appearance.

Sharon did seem to struggle to get her husband to stay still while she was straightening his hair with an iron… even after 30 years of marriage. And you do wonder why they haven’t invested in a pair of hair-straighteners – or borrowed some off their daughter Kelly.

Even more surprisingly, this is just one part of Ozzy’s commitment to looking respectable. He was spotted in an LA gym last week, no doubt trying to shed a few pounds to fit into his wedding outfit.

All rights to Jack’s wedding pictures have been bought by Hello magazine so we can’t show the final effect of Sharon’s hair styling.

But we’ve no doubt that Ozzy did Jack proud. Just as Jack – who spent about 87 per cent of The Osbournes completely off his head – has done his parents proud as a loving husband to Lisa and a loving father to baby Pearl.
