Not taking any more chances! Kate Middleton goes shopping for a VERY conservative swimsuit

The Duchess of Cambridge was recently very publicly humiliated when photos of her posing topless were published in France, Ireland, Sweden and all over the internet. But she’s not going to get caught out again… Kate was spotted shopping for extra covering one-piece swimsuits, and she took Camilla to the shops with her for moral support.

Suits you! Kate and Camilla admire a navy blue one-piece

As AlisonJackson.com reported a couple of weeks ago, Kate and Camilla have been getting closer and closer. First they had a girls’ day out at a spa in London’s Mayfair and now they have been spotted shopping together at Westfield in West London.

The pair looked very relaxed with each other – they were even dressed in matching off-white, pleated outfits – and chatted to other shoppers as they walked through stores including Cath Kidson and House of Fraser.

But they were women on a mission – a mission to make sure that paparazzis do not get the better of William’s wife ever again.

After visiting a few swimwear shops, Kate eventually settled on a navy blue one-piece very similar in design to the Issa dress she wore when her and William announced their engagement to the world.

I’ll take it! Kate paid for the swimsuit with her husband’s credit card

She didn’t try the swimsuit on (perhaps she’s still scared of being papped in a compromising position) instead taking it straight to the till and handing over her husband’s credit card.

We don’t imagine Kate will have much need for the swimsuit in Anglesey. But maybe the couple are planning another getaway to relieve some of the stress of the past few weeks? Or maybe she was under strict orders to invest in something more conservative?
