Heavily-pregnant Adele may be about to give birth, but that hasn’t stopped her toasting the success of her latest single, Skyfall – the theme tune for the new Bond film of the same name. The song went to number one in the iTunes charts within 10 hours of being released.
Surprising friends: Adele was pictured celebrating the success of Skyfall with George Clooney last night
The Rolling In The Deep singer was spotted out on the town last night, with her boyfriend Simon Konecki, a couple of close friends… and George Clooney.
Many will be surprised by the friendship between Adele and George, but we think it kind of makes sense. They are both famously secretive – but details of their love lives have been discussed by millions. They are both very outspoken about their left-leaning political views, and now that Adele is part of the Bond franchise, why shouldn’t she have Hollywood friends?

Having a hoot: The pair giggled their way through the meal – but George was hitting the wine much harder than heavily-pregnant Adele
Hollywood connections: Now that Adele is part of the Bond franchise, why shouldn’t she be friends with superstars?
The soon-to-be-mother did take it easy at the posh central London eaterie last night. She only took a couple of sips of wine and was in a taxi heading home with Simon by 8.45pm.
George, on the other hand, was out until the early hours. Perhaps he was partying for the both of them?
Cheers! The friends all toasted Adele’s success
