St Andrew’s Day is generally a time of celebration for Scots the world over, especially for those who share their name with the country’s patron saint. However Andy Murray was pictured looking pretty angry this morning.

Perhaps the 25-year-old was venting his frustration that the 2012 Tennis season is over – he wants to win more Grand Slams!

This has been a very successful year for Murray, he was the first British man to reach a Wimbledon singles final in 74 years, he won a gold medal at the Olympics, and we was the winner of the U.S. Open.

But the frustration of not being able to play tennis on an international scale for a while is clearly getting to the sports star. It’s not the same when you have to go and pick up your own tennis balls…

These secret snaps show Murray – still sporting his tennis whites – bashing his racquet against the floor and ripping up a picture of one of his arch rivals, Rafa Nadal. He even bursts into tears of anger at one point.

Don’t be upset, Andy, there’s always next year. And, who knows, you might become the first British man in 77 years to win a Wimbledon singles final?
